Welcome

Posted by Chris Cringle

Ho Ho Ho and all that carry on. With a mere 106 days left until Christmas, this year, I want to be prepared and not leaving everything to the last minute like usual. I, like many I'm sure am the guy waiting for his last pay packet and then going out a couple of days before Christmas and panic buying. This is compounded on Christmas day when the family meets and we exchange presents and my offerings are always greeted with a "ahh, soap. That'll come in handy!". Who are they kidding? It's soap for gods sake and they've just given you a bottle of you favourite aftershave and various other goods which you end up resenting because it hammers home how shite your gifts were. Smug gits.

This year I want to be the smug git so I've decided to start relatively early. Saying that, this year has flown by and I cant believe we're into September already! So, my Christmas present to you readers, is this blog which may inspire or if it all goes horribly wrong will open the festive floodgates to ridicule.

In true old school blog style, to keep you lot interested and to give myself a bit of a challenge I'll be starting with just £10 with the intention of getting to £5,000 smackers by the 10th December which is when I will down tools and start getting ready for Christmas. I hope to be signing off with my wallet £5k heavier on that date, wish me luck!
